Dear Friends,

The modern miracle of Israel was made possible by the return of millions of Jews fleeing the aftermath of the Holocaust, hatred and persecution in the Arab world and in the former USSR.

They all carried a common hope and a shared vision burning in their hearts; to work, to rebuild and to restore the ancient homeland of the Jewish people, Eretz Israel.

ICEJ have been partnering with the Jewish Agency’s SELA program that assists Jewish youth, ages 17 to 21, to make Aliyah, study at Israeli universities, and integrate into Israeli society.

The program focuses on Hebrew, Israeli culture and higher education. For these teens, their journey represents more than an escape from difficult circumstances – it is a return to their ancient homeland with a hope of starting anew.

These youths arrive in Israel without their parents but they often prove to be pioneers  as family members follow them.

In response to the growing hatred of the Jewish people the need for a new wave of Aliyah to the Land of Israel has never been more urgent.

As a response ICEJ Ireland are launching Operation Youth Aliyah.

We plan to sponsor 50 Jewish Young People to make Aliyah in  2025. The cost will be $850 for each person and our target is €40,000.

We expect that these young Olim will be met on arrival by a representative of ICEJ Jerusalem and that we would update you with photographs and a report at that time.

As Israel faces many challenges, these young arrivals embody the enduring spirit of hope and renewal of the Jewish people. Even in the darkest times, the Jewish people continue to return, rebuild and thrive!

Thank you for your help and your ongoing partnership with us and for Israel.
